Dr Slot is a 2018 online casino from Intouch Games. They are very different because they only have their own slot games available to play. This can only really go well or horribly wrong.

So which is it?

Read our Dr Slot Casino review for more about their slots so you can decide. We also touch on other areas that you should know.

1. Is Dr Slot legit?

Dr Slot is one of six casinos by Intouch Games. They are a UK based operator with many years of experience. They have a license from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) which allows them to operate in Great Britain. The UKGC is a strict organisation that holds its licensees to account. And Intouch Games should know…

In 2019, the UKGC found that Intouch Games had weaknesses in its anti-money laundering and social responsibility controls. This led to them being issued a penalty of £2.2 million. Two years later in March 2021, Intouch Games was issued another fine for £3.4 million. Again, this fine was issued for social responsibility, anti-money laundering, and transparent practices failings.

Regulatory action by UKGC against Intouch Games

While Dr Slot can still be considered legit and not a scam because they have kept their UKGC license, we will keep an eye out for any further sanctions in future.

2. Dr Slot verification (quick and easy?)

All UK players must verify their identity before they can start playing at a casino or depositing money.

Dr Slot requires players to verify themselves when they first sign up. This might be done automatically as Dr Slot try to verify your personal information by matching it with data from third-party databases. We were lucky as we were automatically verified. All we needed to do was activate our account using an SMS code sent to our phone, as shown here:

Mobile SMS verification code for Dr Slot

However, if you are not verified automatically then you’ll be asked to send in documents. Dr Slot will likely ask for copies of:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence
  • Utility bill
  • Or similar

Even if you were automatically verified, it’s likely that you’ll be asked for these documents at some stage if you continue to deposit and play. So it’s a good idea to keep recent copies of these documents in good quality so you can straight away send them if necessary.

Dr Slot may also need to verify your funds and income at a later stage. This might include copies of things like:

  • Bank statement
  • Payslips
  • Inheritance
  • Or other legit income sources

While this might seem a bit too much, they might ask you for this to help prevent money laundering and other crime. You can read more about why gambling businesses might want to know about your finances from the UK Gambling Commission.

3. Dr Slot games (are they good?)

You can only play Dr Slot’s own games on their site.

Luckily, their slots are pretty good. They usually have a range of features and get good feedback generally from players. All of Dr Slot’s games are audited by independent companies. So they are fair and not rigged. You will have a chance of winning (although always remember that the odds are against you from the start).

One new game is usually released per month. But the number of games is still limited. At the time of this Dr Slot Casino review, there were a little over 40 games. These are nearly all slots, with one or two table games thrown in for good measure. There is no live casino available at Dr Slot.

4. Can I play on mobile? (Yes, but…)

All games at Dr Slot are available on mobile. But you must download the app to play on mobile.

This is pretty annoying really – as basically all other online casinos allow players to play through their mobile browser. The app’s file size is at least small (6MB last time we checked, as shown in the image below) so it shouldn’t take up too much of your storage space. But it’s more the inconvenience of downloading an app that’s most annoying.

Dr Slot app information

You don’t have these problems if playing on a desktop or laptop at least. As you can just play through your browser on these devices.

5. Dr Slot bonuses & free spins

Dr Slot has one of the best online casino bonuses in the UK.

You can start off with free spins on registration no deposit UK (see significant terms below). You will be randomly awarded anywhere between 0-20 of them. We got 15 when we signed up:

We got 15 Dr Slot free spins on registration

But we didn’t manage to win much – less than a quid overall.

If you make a deposit then you will be given a bonus too. In fact, you will get bonuses for your first five deposits:

  1. 300% up to £50 + Up to 100 FS (split over 10 days)
  2. 200% up to £100
  3. 100% up to £150
  4. 100% up to £200
  5. 50% up to £500

Again, how many free spins you get on first deposit are randomly assigned. But a 300% kicker is one of the highest we’ve seen. Therefore, we added them as a consideration for best first deposit bonus casino UK. Here are the significant terms of the entire offer:

18+. New players only. Up to 20 (18p) free spins (FS) on Fire and Gold at registration (Max Withdrawal £50). Up to 100 FS on first deposit, awarded in sets over 10 days. 24hr expiry. Locked to Fire and Gold. Up to £1000 deposit match on first 5 deposits. Min £10 deposit. Dep1: up to 300%, Max £50. Dep2: up to 200%, Max £100. Dep3: up to 100%, Max £150. Dep4: up to 100%, Max £200. Dep5: up to 50%, Max £500. Bonuses and FS winnings subject to 40x wagering requirement. Withdrawing qualifying deposit excludes player from promotion. T&Cs apply, BeGambleAware.org

If you like to pay with PayPal then that’s no problem. All the offers listed above are PayPal casino bonuses. This might not seem like a big deal. But many other sites don’t allow PayPal to be used to activate bonuses. So that’s good.

However, just make sure to deposit the minimum amount. Dr Slot is a £5 deposit casino UK. This means you can deposit as low as a fiver to play their slots and games. However, the minimum amount to trigger their bonuses is often higher than this (check the terms and conditions above for the exact amount). So remember not to get caught out.

One problem with the bonuses they offer is the wagering. At the moment it’s quite high. So turning this bonus into real money and withdrawing it to your account might be hard. If you want a bonus where you are paid real money straight away, visit our MrQ Casino review.

As for casino bonuses for existing players, Dr Slot offer these on a weekly basis. These are constantly changing but usually give you more bonus money or free spins.

6. Dr Slot withdrawal review

When doing this review, we were lucky enough to win a bit of cash. So we hit withdraw and waited to see what happened.

Luckily, our payout was approved and processed by Dr Slot in just a few minutes.

Seriously, check out the dates and times of these screenshots for proof:

Under 10 minute withdrawal time at Dr Slot

This is actually really quick for an online casino. So we were very impressed.

Of course, not all withdrawals will be as quick as this. Especially if you need to provide extra verification documents. As this will likely slow the process down by several days. But our experience proves that Dr Slot can be very quick at sorting out withdrawals when it’s possible.

We also used PayPal which is known for being one of the fastest withdrawal methods you can use. And that was the case here too.

If you check the above screenshot on the right again, you can see confirmation that our withdrawal from Dr Slot was processed and paid out at 18:55. We then received an email from PayPal just 5 minutes later at 19:00 confirming the money was in our account:

Confirmation of PayPal payout at Dr Slot

So the entire withdrawal time at Dr Slot took under 10 minutes from start to finish. This easily makes Dr Slot a coveted instant withdrawal casino UK.

7. What do players say about Dr Slot online?

By an online casino’s standards, Dr Slot is rated quite well on TrustPilot:

Dr Slot Casino's TrustPilot score

They currently have a rating under 4 stars. This is actually a good rating though as casinos usually have much lower ratings than this.

Why is this? Because players lose money at casinos.

Even at legit and licensed sites, there is still a house edge that favours the casino. If everyone won then there wouldn’t be any casinos to play at.

But this creates a lot of negative reviews.

People also tend to leave more negative reviews than positive. So online casinos are caught up in this storm.

With all that said, this means Dr Slot is currently well-rated when it comes to casino player reviews.

Importantly, Dr Slot’s average rating doesn’t come from lots of Average reviews, it comes from lots of Bad and Excellent reviews:

Dr Slot's Trustpilot breakdown

This, given the two considerations mentioned before, suggests Dr Slot is doing well.

Dr Slot also replies to all comments on TrustPilot – good or bad. This is good to see.

Dr Slot Review Summary

Dr Slot is a good site overall. If you are looking for something different then they have their own games which is a great feature. Very few casinos can say they offer something unique, but Dr Slot is one of them.

These are some standout points of our Dr Slot Casino review:

  • One-of-a-kind games
  • Our withdrawal paid out in under 10 minutes
  • Mobile-optimised (although their app is required)
  • Well reviewed by other players

One thing they do need to improve upon is their record with the UKGC. This has been poor in the last few years.

If you do give Dr Slot a go, make sure to come back and leave a review.

  1. Dan

So I deposited £125 without any verification which is against gambling regulations. Luckily i won £439.20 which i withdrew to the same card I deposited on. The next day i was asked to provide id which i did and withdrawal was approved, or so i thought. The next day i received a text saying further id was required, a selfie with my bank card , which i had never heard of before. Anyway I begrudgingly took the picture which was initially rejected. I took 8 more to make sure it was acceptable which apparently one of them was. I then called customer services to ask what was going on and they informed me my bank rejected the payment. I called my bank and they had no reference to any payment coming in let alone being rejected. My withdrawal then went back into my online account 3 days after the original withdrawal. I then tried to withdraw it a second time. Surprise surprise, it failed again, this time they couldn’t give a reason…….. i yet again for about the 10th time in 5 days spoke to customer services. To be fair they were always polite and helpful but all i wanted was my winnings. As my card withdrawal had failed twice, they suggested I deposit again via PayPal so i could use that as a withdrawal method which i refused as i was unwilling to give them anymore money. I then went through a refund form with the agent for a bank transfer and was informed within 1 working day it would be processed and I’d receive a text within 1 working day. Its been nearly 2 days and its still showing as playable credits. I’ve contacted customer services twice and just been told i have to wait. This is just a joke now. If companies payed out fast, they would get repeat custom, there is no reason why it couldn’t be put back on my card and now they are stalling my bank transfer. If this isn’t sorted tomorrow i will be reporting to the gambling commission. I would strongly advise avoiding dr slot, they don’t verify you before depositing and you apparently can’t withdraw your winnings. I’ve already sent an email to their complaints department and heard nothing back

      Hey Dan,

Cheers for leaving us your review of Dr Slot.

Most UK online casinos will try to match the information you provide when signing up with databases. If this is successful, you might not need to send in any documents to verify yourself before you can deposit and play (more on this from the Gambling Commission).

You might also be required to send a selfie to a gambling business (as confirmed by the Gambling Commission).

Hmmm, yeah sorry to hear about your withdrawal issues. Unfortunately, situations like this can happen when extra verification is needed. And it’s not the best experience. But hopefully your bank transfer will be sorted out soon.

      Many congrats on your win!

      Gamblermaster
